Harold & the Bishops are taking over the Botany View Hotel on Friday 6th November to launch their new single, “Make Money”.
Hailing from Sydney’s Inner West, Harold & the Bishops are a spirited garage-punk four-piece known for a potent mix of passionate vocals and high-energy punk, anchored by driving bass and kinetic, psychedelic textures that shift the flow of their live show.
Drawing inspiration from the raw power of Eddy Current Suppression Ring, IDLES and C.O.F.F.I.N, the band’s foundations were laid in 2017 while hosting DIY parties in their share house. Their sound is a direct byproduct of the lives they’ve lived — unfiltered, honest and forged in the same trenches that brought them here.
Joining them for the night are The Magician, Garage/Grunge oufit laying down some sludge and LAYMAN, the Lo-Fi Garage 3 piece bringing the vibes.
